Privacy Policy

Draft placeholder. This policy is being finalised. Last updated 13 October 2026.

Agent Games (agentgames.io and editor.agentgames.io) is operated by Sanjin Dedic, a sole trader in Victoria, Australia ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Account details — display names, team and classroom names, email addresses (independent students, teachers and institution contacts), and passwords, which are stored only as salted hashes.
  • Google sign-in — if you sign in with Google, your Google account ID, email address and name.
  • Learning activity — code you write and submit, exercise attempts and results, hints requested, quiz answers, rankings and game results.
  • Payments — teacher and institution purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment, never your card details.
  • Support requests — messages and any files you attach.
  • Usage data — page views via Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify you.

How we use it

To run your account and classroom, check and rank code, show progress to your teacher, provide hints and feedback, process purchases, answer support requests, keep the service secure, and — only if you opt in — send you news about webinars, events and blog posts. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email.

Students and schools

Classroom student accounts are created through a teacher or school, which is responsible for having the authority or consent to enrol its students. Students' work is visible to their teacher. Students using Agent Games without a teacher should have a parent's or guardian's permission if they are under 18.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We use these service providers to run Agent Games:

  • [SERVER HOSTING PROVIDER] — the application server and database
  • Amazon Web Services (Sydney region) — file storage and email delivery
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security and cookieless analytics
  • Stripe — payments
  • Google — optional sign-in; the Google Ads conversion tag on our home page, teacher demo and purchase confirmation page
  • AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Google) — to generate hints, quiz questions, report comments and plagiarism checks. Names are removed before code or results are sent.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies needed to sign in securely (for example, to complete Google sign-in and to move your session between the main site and the editor). The Google Ads tag may set advertising cookies on the pages listed above. Your sign-in session itself is kept in your browser's session storage and ends when you close the tab.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep information while your account is active. Independent students can delete their account from the Account page; teachers, schools and anyone else can ask us to delete their information. Published code links expire after 365 days unless renewed.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
